Temperature controlled logistics returns with a top schedule for 2019.
The 18th annual Temperature Controlled Logistics Conference will bring together supply chain, logistics and quality experts from around the globe to experience four days of ‘unmissable’ workshops, case studies, panels, interactive discussion groups and technology showcases.
This conference, which takes place on January 28-31 at Twickenham Stadium, follows a journey from the beginning of the pharmaceutical supply chain, to the very end. With presentations, interactive activities covering planning, transportation, execution, last mile and post-distribution.
Katherine Gordon, Programme Director for TCL 2019, said: “Our goal is for each and every delegate who attends TCL is to leave understanding what best practice planning and execution looks like at every stage of their cold and ambient supply chain. It will be an unmissable few days for all whose profession revolves in part or wholly around pharma logistics and temperature control, and who wish to remain properly informed and at the top of their game.”
TCL is a tightly-focused networking, business development and learning platform for industry experts. In 2019, the event will tackle issues such as modernising supply chains and logistics strategies by identifying and implementing new technologies with ideas and insight from companies such as Pfizer, MSD, Sensitech and Softbox. The conference will also look at securing the integrity of products by reducing temperature excursions across the globe featuring exclusive case studies from Bayer (Latin America), Getz Pharma (South Asia), AstraZeneca (China) and Medecins Sans Frontieres (Africa).
There will be focus on implementing serious cost reduction strategies for logistics processes without compromising quality with tips and tricks from Allergan, CSL Behring, Dr Reddys and Sanofi Genzyme.
The conference will also discuss how to make end-to-end GDP compliance strategies simple without sacrificing efficiency or economy, safeguarding control room temperature (CRT) products throughout the supply chain and ensuring end-to-end security by strengthening the all-important last mile of distribution.
At TCL, delegates can concentrate on consolidating relationships with vendors and by developing best strategies for vendor management and solution qualification, creating robust risk assessments to address correctable temperature deviations and evaluating different modes of transport to optimise logistics efficiencies via air, sea, road and rail.
Gordon said: “TCL houses the most comprehensive and progressive logistics strategies, best practices and solutions, so that no matter what the biggest challenges are, pharma and bio-tech professionals will find the tools they need to tackle them here. Delegates can capitalise on the knowledge shared by more than 60 expert speakers, across 40 ground breaking sessions, within three streams, that allow them to personalise their agendas, and meet over 50 solution providers who can help with their logistics challenges.”
