BCMPA ANNOUNCES CONTRACT PACKING & FULFILMENT COMPANY OF THE YEAR AT THE UKPA
This year’s UK Packaging Awards saw the UK’s leading contract packing and fulfilment companies being recognised at a prestigious ceremony held in London in front of over 600 attendees.
Sponsored by the BCMPA, the Association for Contract Manufacturing, Packing, Fulfilment & Logistics, the awards recognise the extraordinary support that co-pack and fulfilment firms provide to the wider retail and packaging sector, services which became even more difficult, and more critically vital during the pandemic.
Rodney Steel, Chief Executive of the BCMPA, was honoured to present the winners of the Co-Pack & Fulfilment Company of the Year category with their awards. In congratulating the winner Expac Preston, Steel commented “We are proud and delighted to be sponsors of this category at this year’s UK Packaging Awards, recognising the massive contribution that the co-packing and logistics sector has made to keeping the wheels of commerce turning during multiple lockdowns.”
Expac is a co-packer of personal/household/pet care products & has a reputation for outstanding flexibility, quality, service & a creative touch. Judges commented on the business’s ‘out of the box’ thinking which had enabled its exceptional performance and impressive growth.
Also highly commended at the event were BCMPA members Complete Co-Packing Services and Granby Marketing Services.
“The quality of all nine of the shortlisted companies this year is testament to the pivotal role this sector has played this year and will increasingly continue to play for 2022. Congratulations to every one of the amazing finalists.” Rodney added.
