SureCam will be discussing how fleets can avoid the hidden risks of AI video telematics at The Festival of Fleet Technology having been confirmed as key sponsor. European Managing Director, Justin White, will be taking part in the event’s Tech Talks programme to examine the importance of embedding AI into cloud-based, video telematics platforms, so fleet operators can achieve far better results for less effort.
“AI video telematics should support and not hinder the fleet manager, so we need to address the mountain of data and alerts that is being generated by the latest smart dashcams,” explains Justin White. “If you have AI on the edge, within the camera, then it makes sense to also utilise AI in the back end, so there is an effective system in place that is far more manageable and effective. This will ensure video-enabled driver coaching can deliver the desired safety and compliance improvements, while saving time and valuable resource.”
The Festival of Fleet Technology takes place on Thursday 16th October at the Royal Society in London. Organised and hosted by leading provider of AI driven route optimisation software, Optimize, the event will be an immersive experience for the commercial fleet sector. It promises to spotlight how vehicle operators can unlock productivity gains, boost profitability and drive down carbon emissions through the intersection of technology, data and fleet management.
The Tech Talks will bring together industry-leading speakers, including specialists from Optimize and SureCam, to discuss the technology challenges and opportunities that are shaping the commercial fleet sector. Deep-dive presentations and interactive panel discussion will also explore the latest in technical integration and digital solutions. The Q&A-style panel discussion will take place at the end of the Tech Talks and be hosted by TV presenter, Rachel Riley.
“The Festival of Fleet Technology provides a significant opportunity for us to engage with the commercial fleet marketplace, share our video telematics expertise and support our valued partner, Optimize. Our team will be on hand throughout the event at the SureCam stand to provide advice on connected vehicle cameras, AI driver coaching and integrated fleet technologies,” added SureCam’s Partnership Director, Sam Footer.
