Ctrack by Inseego has teamed up with MaxOptra to meet the growing demand from multi-drop distribution operations for optimised scheduling and live transport management. The partnership will deliver telematics-enabled solutions that use highly accurate, real-time data to support dynamic route planning and planned vs actual performance monitoring.
MaxOptra’s route planning software has been seamlessly integrated with Ctrack’s cloud-based telematics platform to obtain actual vehicle data and provide real-time visibility of what is happening out on the road. By linking the two industry-leading technologies, it will now be able to compare planned vs actual routes and better understand delivery performance. This will allow road transport operators to improve the execution of forward and dynamic plans, as well as keep customers informed of any unexpected delays or potential issues.
“Real-life insight is key to continually enhancing the planning process and achieving even more benefit for your business,” explains Tim McCarthy, Sales Manager at MaxOptra. “We are committed to working with like-minded technology specialists that can help us continue to deliver value to road transport operations and share our passion for exceptional customer service. We are therefore delighted to welcome Ctrack as a tier one telematics partner.”
Jason Laight, Head of Indirect Sales at Ctrack by Inseego commented: “We are seeing unprecedented demand for greater visibility from road transport operators looking to cut costs, increase service levels and boost operational productivity, so integrated vehicle tracking and route planning is increasingly appealing. Working closely with MaxOptra, we have already signed a number of contracts for integrated solutions that deliver simplified route optimisation, smarter fleet management and innovative customer communications.”
Ctrack has significant experience integrating its fleet tracking software with leading third-party applications such as ERP, routing and scheduling, work management, GIS and transport management. Using an application programming interface (API), the company’s development team can create bespoke solutions that export live data into other back-office software tools, opening up a whole new layer of capability for intelligent reporting.
