Global software specialist Nulogy is highlighting the importance of digitalisation in contract packing for the growing number of logistics providers offering this value-added service, at the IWLEX show on May 23rd – 24th, at the Telford International Centre.
Visitors to stand A5O will see how Nulogy’s Shop Floor Solution enables value-added third-party logistics firms (3PLs) and dedicated co-packers to operate more efficiently and profitably while improving agility, quality, and service levels within the upstream supply chain.
With predictable consumer demand and stable retail channels now things of the past, digitalisation is critical to ensure efficiency and accuracy on a 3PL’s co-pack shop floor. Faster, more responsive service, recall readiness through rapid traceability, labour and materials cost control, and improved quality compliance are just some of the added advantages 3PLs achieve through investing in digitalisation, and Nulogy’s purpose-built co-pack software solution is tailor made for such needs.
In addition, Nulogy will be hosting a speaking session, on 23rd May at 1:30pm, in Theatre 2, showcasing the value of digitalisation in a contract packing environment. Paul Birdsall, Head of WMS at Kinaxia Logistics, and Josephine Coombe, Nulogy’s Chief Commercial Officer will discuss how Kinaxia implemented Nulogy to digitally enable their value-added services allowing them to be more agile and responsive in serving FMCG brands.
Nulogy also offers a multi-enterprise platform – the Supplier Collaboration Solution –synchronising consumer brands with their external supply chain partners, enabling improved collaboration, visibility, and capacity planning across a brand’s contract packing and manufacturing networks.
Josephine concluded; “IWLEX is the perfect space for Nulogy to deliver practical advice and illustrate to 3PLs how our software can improve the efficiency, quality, and ultimately the profitability of their co-pack operations. We welcome those 3PLs offering value added contract packing services to come to Stand A5O to find out more.”
