goplasticpallets.com, the responsible plastic pallet company, has further strengthened the portfolio of products it supplies to the UK waste management sector with the launch of two new UN-approved plastic pallet boxes. Both products incorporate secure closure systems to help organisations prioritise health and safety, operational efficiency and compliance when handling hazardous household and industrial waste.
The first new product is the GoPalletBox 1210S 3R UN Approved with Safety Straps. Measuring 1200 x 1000 x 760mm, this 610-litre plastic pallet box offers a dynamic load capacity of 1,350kg. Supplied with three skids, solid walls and a solid base, the box is manufactured from HDPE, and features a lid that is secured by eight safety straps. The boxes are stackable for efficient transportation, handling, and storage, and are 100% recyclable at the end of their long service life.
The second addition is the GoPalletBox 1210S 3R UN Approved with Lid & Lock. Offering the same dimensions, capacity, and performance benefits as the safety strap version, this model instead uses a manual locking system operated with a triangular key. This provides an alternative secure closure method for customers who require controlled access.
The following UN-approved certifications are available for these products: UN 11H2/Y and UN 4H2/Y, approving the packaging for the transportation of hazardous waste, including solid and bulk materials belonging to packing groups II and III, subject to the applicable UN packing instructions.
Both pallet boxes are designed for repeated use in demanding waste management environments, delivering a hygienic, durable, and reliable alternative to traditional products. Their long lifespan and full recyclability support greener supply chains, helping businesses to meet their sustainability goals.
Dan Starnes, Sales Director at goplasticpallets.com, said: “We are excited to develop our waste management offering with the introduction of these new UN-approved pallet boxes. When it comes to hazardous waste, compliance and health and safety are absolutely critical. By expanding our range with these innovative products, we are ensuring our customers have access to practical, robust solutions that support safe handling, efficient operations and regulatory compliance.
“We already work closely with a number of major organisations across the waste management sector, and these additions will help to further strengthen those relationships. Following the expansion of our spill control and containment range last year, this is the next logical step in continuing to support this vital industry with sustainable, fit-for-purpose products.”
